With more than 40 combined years of experience in engineering and concept development for complex projects, 5th Axis has the skills necessary to design and fabricate any component.
Our engineering department is proficient in 3D-Cad modeling, finite element analysis and CNC programming, with a wide range of experience in the design and fabrication of composites, thermoplastics, injection molding, castings, wood and metal.
Utilizing cutting-edge software and equipment, 5th Axis generates low-cost composite tooling, innovative prototype models, and low-volume production components. Specifically, we generate and import geometric shapes via Solidworks 3D software and program our CNC machines using Mastercam, which produces extremely complex shapes that capitalize on the full range of our 5-axis machines.


From concept development to finished product, 5th Axis designs, engineers, and fabricates working prototypes for a diverse range of products. Having worked in a multitude of industries, from defense contracting to extreme sports, 5th Axis has the ability to adapt to the needs of each of our customers to help in the design, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.


With several 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines, lathes, and state-of-the-art 3D printing capabilities, 5th Axis produces a broad range of geometrically complex parts for a wide variety of customers. We can cut various non-metallics such as woods, plastics, rubbers, and composites.
